As a seasoned City Hall and Elopement photographer in New York City, I pride myself in giving my couples a thorough and thoughtfully planned wedding experience from start to finish. My style is documentary-first with a true to color edit, so the images will always look and feel like you in this moment in time.
"My partner and I felt so supported, excited, and held :) The photos are so beautiful and we can't wait to print all of them and keep them in an album forever! Thank you, Emily!"
Deciding between a courthouse wedding or a private elopement?
Here is a snapshot of each service and how I work with you to make it a seamless day!
Photography Starting at $1,100
Getting married at City Hall is a fun, low-key way to elope—no stress, no fuss. I’ve been countless times and love it so much that I often recommend it even for couples planning a larger wedding.
The process is simple: You’ll book a license appointment and short ceremony with the City Clerk three weeks in advance. I’ll help you plan everything—from timeline to locations for photos afterward—and offer flexible booking if your date isn’t set yet.
On the day, I’ll guide you through the courthouse, can sign as your witness if needed, and document the whole experience. Afterward, we can take photos around City Hall or head anywhere in the city for portraits (confetti and bubbles encouraged!).
Note: City Hall ceremonies are Monday–Friday and limited to four guests.
Photography Starting at $1,500
Want something more personal and intimate—but still relaxed and fun? A private elopement might be the perfect fit.
Elopements can happen anywhere in the city—from Central Park to your best friend’s living room—and give you full flexibility with location, timing, ceremony length, and guest list. I’m happy to recommend officiants who match your energy, or you can have a friend or family member lead the ceremony.
My elopement packages are designed for up to 20 guests and include a custom moodboard, location scouting as needed, and a full gallery of images.

I always say the best photos are captured when you're in a location that holds meaning to you, doing something you love with the person you love (and of course, wearing something that makes you feel fabulous helps too!)

For a documentary-forward approach that is more modern, skip the first look and get ready together! Capturing these moments of excitement before your ceremony - helping each other button your outfits, share a coffee, etc - makes everything feel more intimate and really represents the idea of marriage as a partnership. It also sets a perfectly joyful tone that will carry you throughout - and keep the vibes relaxed and low key!
My couples have loved taking a moment to themselves to relax with their favorite snacks and bevs. From pizza to ice cream or coffee to wine, it's especially fun when you pick a spot you know, love and frequent together!
Whether you live in New York City or are eloping from out of town, the city makes for a perfect third character in your elopement photos! From hailing a cab to frolicking through Central Park or Dumbo, there are so many iconic spots that give major city vibes. I'm a lifelong New Yorker and happy to help you pick some fun spots based on what feels true to your story!
Who says your puppy can't be your ring bearer? I love when couples include their furry friends in their elopements. It adds a whole lot of joy, meaning and extra magic to the day - and your photos!
