Growing up in Brooklyn, New York, I’d spend hours looking through my family’s photo albums. Those photographs connected me to people I’d never met, preserved stories I’d never lived, and gave me a sense of belonging to something bigger than myself.
Today, it’s an honor to create that same kind of legacy for my clients.
Photographs aren’t just about what happened in the moment—they’re about how it felt and the people who made it meaningful. From weddings and intimate celebrations to corporate events for brands like Google, Shopify, and Botkier, as well as Broadway and theatrical productions, I’ve had the privilege of documenting stories in many forms—but the goal is always the same: creating photographs that feel honest, timeless, and unmistakably you.
Hi there, I'm Emily.
I believe the experience matters just as much as the photographs themselves. From thoughtful planning to gentle direction on the day, my goal is to make you feel comfortable enough to be fully present while I document the moments you’ll want to remember.
I proudly welcome clients of all backgrounds, cultures, religions, identities, and abilities. I stand in support of LGBTQIA + couples and I strive to create a space where everyone feels respected, celebrated, and completely themselves.
✔ You’d rather be fully present than spend the day worrying about perfect poses.
✔ You appreciate creativity and collaboration, and you’re open to a little out-of-the-box magic (truly, bring me your wild ideas — I’m in).
✔ You want a photographer who is fun, communicative, and deeply invested in you — and can leave room for spontaneity and diversion when it leads to something unforgettable!
✔ You value the whole story—not just the big moments, but the quiet glances, unexpected laughter, and everything in between.
After our engagement shoot we agreed we had to have her for our wedding. Emily has the ability to magically translate moodboards into realistic shots. Our parents adored her, and her eye for candid moments gave us some of our most treasured photos. If you’re even thinking of hiring Emily, just book her. That's how highly I recommend her!

"My husband hates being photographed, but after 5 minutes with Emily he was so relaxed."
A photoshoot should never feel stuffy or uncomfortable, so it only makes sense to pick a photographer that you connect with, and who will make the process feel more at home.
In the hopes of getting to know me better, here are some fun facts about me!
In addition to being a former dancer and Spanish major, I also studied musical theatre in college. If you like to break out into song too, I'm the gal for you!
I'm a musical theatre nerd!
I was born and raised in New York City
That's right, you're looking at a bona fide New Yorker! Not only do I know this city by heart, I live and breathe its magic and love using my knowledge to help you create an amazing NYC shoot!
(But you can book me for travel shoots, too!)
I'm a cat mom.
My senior rescue cat, Ever, entered my life in 2021 and she's simply the best! I call her my sour patch kid - super sweet and snuggly, but has a (lot) of spice to her.
Have a pet too?
Tell me more - I love hearing about my client's furry friends.
I used to live in Spain.
I am a massive travel enthusiast, and during college I had an amazing opportunity to live and dance in Spain. I still speak fluent Spanish and spend most of my days dreaming of when I can return.
I learned to ride a bike at 25!
Ok, this fact is a bit more embarrassing, but it's true! I am not totally sure why I never learned, but now that I have I am totally obsessed! I love the feeling of flying, and nothing makes me happier than pedaling super fast.
I worked on a soap opera.
For 10 years I was a TV/Video producer on as many types of shows as you can think of! From soaps to award shows, reality, music and cooking - I planned shoots, wrote scripts and even called cues from a control room! I loved traveling for work, meeting talented artists and being part of something bigger than myself.
I am a total rom com and mystery entertainment gal.
I watch You’ve Got Mail several times a year, enjoy a good Agatha Christie novel and am 1,000% Team Jess (iykyk).
Fave TV Shows: The Traitors, Abbott Elementary, Schitt’s Creek, Only Murders in the Building
